Michael Bolton, a well-known performer, disclosed a worrying health problem he experienced over the holidays and verified that he had brain tumour surgery.
The singer of the song “When a Man Loves a Woman” wrote on social media at the end of last week, wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year!
“I also want to mention that in 2023, I encountered some incredibly unforeseen challenges.”
“Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumour, which required immediate surgery,” he stated.
Thanks to the incredible effort of my medical team, the procedure went smoothly. With the unshakeable love and support of my family, I am currently recovering at home.
Bolton added that as a result of the treatment, he will now be taking a break to recover in the comfort of his own home. Unfortunately, that will interfere with his upcoming tour schedule.
The singer said, “I’ll have to take a temporary break from touring because I’ll be devoting my time and energy to my recovery for the next few months.”
“It is always the hardest thing for me to disappoint my fans or cancel a show, but don’t worry, I’m doing everything I can to expedite my recovery and get back on stage as soon as possible.”
Most of Bolton’s fans who took the time to remark on the website naturally felt bad for him and his sudden, unexpected circumstance.
The American singer is well known for her hits, such as Said I Loved You, When a Man Loves a Woman, and How Am I Supposed to Live Without You, and has sold over 75 million records. But I told a falsehood.
The 70-year-old was supposed to embark on a new tour in February that was to make stops in Canada, the US, the UK, and Switzerland.
We wish Michael Bolton a speedy and complete recovery!
