In a recent dramatic fall, legendary comedian and TV personality Jay Leno suffered some very severe injuries.
The 74-year-old has experienced a lot of bad luck lately, having suffered severe burns in November 2022 when he was repairing one of the historic cars in his collection when flames broke out. He also suffered a number of damaged bones in a motorbike accident in 2023.
Although the well-known TV personality’s injuries were not as severe this time around, he still had noticeable wounds, including a fairly painful-looking bruise on his face.
Leno wore an eyepatch over his left eye when he arrived at the Comedy For Kobe event in Beverly Hills on Monday, November 18. His wrist was covered with a bandage, and the entire left side of his face was bruised and mottled blue and black.

After spending the weekend in a hotel perched atop a hill, the celebrity told TMZ that he chose to dine at a restaurant located at the base of the hill. The comic said it was “60 to 70 feet” high and “didn’t look that steep,” so instead of walking the allotted mile-and-a-half, he chose to go straight down the hill.
Leno told TMZ, “I rolled down the hill after falling.” Then he lifted his eyepatch to show that his eye was still swollen shut. “Hit my head on a rock, knocked me on the eye,” he continued.

He said, “I went to the hospital when I got back to LA.” Only a few hours of the show were presented. This isn’t a huge deal; it’s okay!
Leno reportedly didn’t let his most recent mishap hold him down, taking the stage for a planned comedy event barely three hours after he fell.

As was already mentioned, Leno’s recent string of misfortunes is complemented by the tragic event that occurred over the weekend. When he was clotheslined off his motorbike last year, it made headlines. That time, he ended up with fractured bones.
“If you see me limping around here, well, you probably will for the next couple of videos,” Leno said in a video at the time. “I still have a broken collarbone, two broken ribs, and a couple of cracked knee caps.”
As you know, you can’t really teach a man anything once he turns forty, so I’m going to fix [the Indian motorbike] and get back on it like a fool. They just continue to do the same things again and over. I’m lucky to be 72 years old because this may have been a catastrophic accident if I were older.
He continued, saying, “You can still see a little bit of a scar here [on my chin] and a scar on my neck [where the wire caught]; I was pretty lucky because I probably would have been decapitated if I had been going like 50 or something.” And good luck to you if you are never beheaded.
The renowned former host of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on the other hand, went viral in 2022 after images of him surfaced that revealed his ugly burns from working on one of his cars.
