Commonwealth Bank has had another outage that has stopped thousands of customers from doing their online banking.
Around midday on Thursday, more than 7,000 people reported the outage, which is affecting both ATMs and online banking.
CBA put up a message on its website saying, “Some of our services are currently unavailable, and we’re working hard to fix this.”
The outage, which was the second one to hit the huge bank in less than two weeks, got a lot of complaints on social media.
“LOL, Commbank is down again!” What the hell is wrong with these people? Thank God I can open more than one account. It’s not safe to keep your money in banks, and it’s not yours, lol. Put it in cash or crypto. Someone wrote on X, “Unreal.”
“Put your stuff together.”
“Here we go again, another outage.” “Not good enough, CommBank,” stated another guy.
“Hey @CommBank, What’s going on with banking online? Someone else added, “I get this every time I try to log in to the app.” For more than an hour, this has been going on.
