The panel, which includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro, has been urged by the show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, to be cautious while talking about the 47th president, they said. A change in ABC’s approach to political discourse was indicated by the instruction, which apparently surfaced in the weeks preceding Trump’s inauguration.
The atmosphere behind the scenes is anything from joyous, despite “The View” continuing to attract an astounding 2.6 million viewers over the past four weeks. The co-hosts of “The View,” whose jobs are at stake, seem to be reconsidering how they handle conversations about Trump. Sara Haines publicly acknowledged last month that she felt disconnected from the show’s viewership since she and the other panellists didn’t endorse Trump.
Whoopi Goldberg and Alyssa Farah Griffin, who formerly worked for Trump but later supported Kamala Harris, recently disagreed about the necessity of reaching conservative voters.
