Even when the White House is the threat, Zohran Mamdani doesn’t give up.
After Donald Trump said at a public event that the Democratic Party’s nominee for mayor of New York City should be deported, the contender is fighting back.

Trump is on edge.
People are already talking about Zohran Mamdani, a new political name that has sprung out of nowhere.
Not many people outside of New York knew who this 33-year-old Democratic Socialist from Queens was a week ago. He beat Andrew Cuomo, the party’s choice, in the battle for mayor of New York City. Now, the Democratic Party sees him as its next big hope.
Mamdani is a Muslim from Uganda who wants to raise the minimum salary to $30, give everyone free buses, and make preschool available to everyone. Like Bernie Sanders, he also wants to tax the extremely rich to pay for these things. Donald Trump is gaining ground very quickly, which makes both the Democratic establishment and him anxious.
“One hundred percent Crazy Communist”
Trump didn’t hold back on Truth Social, where he called Mamdani a “100 percent Communist Lunatic.” The president also claimed that he would use his power if Mamdani took control during a second interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo. I will be president when he gets in, and he has to do the right thing, or they won’t get any money. He must act in the proper way.
I have to assume that the president will talk about my looks, my voice, my heritage, and who I am. He utilizes this to get people to stop thinking about what I’m fighting against, which is the working people he promised to help but didn’t.
We might have to take him in.
After visiting the new Alligator Alcatraz immigration prison facility jail in Ochopee, Florida, Donald Trump spoke out against Zohran Mamdani again at a news conference. This time, someone asked Trump how hard Mamdani fought against ICE raids.
Trump says we might have to arrest him if he gets in the way.
We don’t want a communist to be in charge of this country. And when we have one, I will keep a close eye on him for the good of the country.
Trump went on to say that looking into the authenticity of Mamdani would show that there might be problems with immigration. Mamdani’s parents are from India, and he has been a citizen of the United States since 2018.

We give him the tools and help he needs to run the country… People are now wondering if he is here legally or not. We will look at everything. We hope he isn’t as much of a communist as he seems to be. But what about now? That’s not how socialism works. That is straight-up communism.
People quickly reacted negatively to the comments, which made Mamdani’s name even more well-known.
Mamdani’s warning
Zohran Mamdani, a well-known member of the Democratic Socialists of America (the largest socialist group in the US), spoke out against President Trump’s threats to arrest and deport him.
Mamdani was extremely clear when he declared, “The president of the United States just said he would arrest me, take away my citizenship, and put me in a detention center.” Send me back to my home country. I haven’t done anything wrong, but I won’t let ICE harass our city.
He didn’t stop there. The Queens assemblyman said that this was not simply an attack on him; it was part of a larger plot to silence everyone who disagreed.
He is threatening all New Yorkers who don’t know what’s going on that if they speak up, they will come after you. We won’t let this kind of bullying happen.

Mamdani also didn’t like that Eric Adams, the current mayor of New York City, is running as an independent and using Trump’s words:
MAGA Republicans want to damage working people so that their billionaire donors may become richer. They also want to undermine the social safety net and block millions of New Yorkers from getting health insurance. Eric Adams is just as racist, divisive, and distracting as this regime, which is really bad. Most individuals who vote in November will say no.
During the process, Mayor Adams remarked that Mamdani was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. “Goodbye, little Muhammad!” yelled Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee. If you lied on your N-400 forms for naturalization, you will be sent back to the country where you were born.
