Some social media users are criticizing president Donald Trump as being weak and scared after he made a public announcement that the United States had attacked Iran through a military action.
Trump on Saturday night (June 21) ordered a strike against the key Iranian nuclear sites.
The president proclaimed the mission as a success, saying that the nuclear plant sites at Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan were completely destroyed.

The attack was made as the world worried about Iran nuclear aspirations.
Other American allies have since made public remarks on the escalation, among which are the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and France.
The tensions, however, have been increasing with the international observers worrying over the way Iran will strike back.
The Iranian government threatened to respond with a decisive response, and on June 23, Iran fired missiles at America military bases in Qatar and Iraq.

The national address by Trump after the U.S. attack has attracted a lot of attention.
Critics also compared his affect to the former presidents in times of crises and they seemed to cast their eyes anxiously.
Trump mentioned in his statement that the goal was to remove the nuclear enrichment capabilities of Iran and to address the preeminent sponsor of terrorism in the world. I may add that the strikes met with perfect success. The nuclear facility of Iran has been destroyed. They are now forced to decide between peace or even higher penalty by Iran.
Social sites, especially Twitter, soon became flooded with reaction on the demeanor and body language of Trump during the speech.
His delivery was compared to that of Joe Biden, Barack Obama and George W. Bush delivering similar speeches in times of international tension.

One went so far as to post side-by-side collages of Trump and previous presidents and wrote:,I never saw a U.S. President look so conspicuously uneasy announcing military action. His inner circle had to be there as his protective cloak.”
Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have stood behind Trump in the speech.
One of the users tweeted: Trump appeared visibly uncomfortable in that very short speech. One is tempted to think he is asking Iran not to be overly vengeful.”
The third person said: I saw Trump more nervous than ever before. It is as though he is aware that the reaction of Iran may be nuclear.”
One of them posted: “@realDonaldTrump was uncertain. He was not convincing enough as he seems to be not sure about the chain reaction he might have caused and how it will affect the future of America.”
Following the strike, critics have warned of the potential price escalation in the oil and gas price, and potential domestic security threats.
There is some apprehension among analysts about sleeper cells, persons already in the U.S who might take orders abroad.

In the interim Iran experienced another retaliatory strike by Israel on June 23 prior to its retaliatory strike and Israel launched another new offensive to disrupt contact to Iranian Fordow facility, one of the facilities destroyed during the strike by the U.S.
The defense minister of Israel said that they were slamming Tehran with unimaginable power. Meanwhile, Trump hinted that he might impose regime change in Iran.
The most recent heightening dates back to June 13 when Israel started a massive military strike on the Iranian nuclear system where it killed scientists and high ranking military officials.
Iran retaliated and like it is the case now, both nations have been fighting a sequence of retaliation.
The leaders all over the world including in the UK have pleaded with both sides to de-escalate and get back to diplomatic negotiations.
