Former President Donald Trump’s news conference was abruptly interrupted on Friday due to a medical issue involving one of Dr. Mehmet Oz’s family members. The live-streamed briefing came to an abrupt halt when White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was heard requesting that journalists leave the room right away.
Dr. Oz’s swearing-in as the director of the Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a key position in Trump’s second term, was the original reason for the event. Known to many as a long-time medical expert and television celebrity, Dr. Oz’s appointment had already garnered global notice. However, a medical problem that surfaced behind the scenes caused the event’s tone to swiftly change.
Just as the press conference was coming to an end, the live broadcast stream abruptly went dark. The Press Secretary was heard telling reporters to leave the room before the lights went off on FOX News. “We don’t know what’s going on there, as the press is being escorted out of the room,” a FOX News anchor who was obviously taken aback by the abrupt interruption stated.
BREAKING: Someone collapsed inside the Oval Office, just as Trump warned that lives will be in danger if Iran gets a nuke, and "Dr" Mehmet Oz stands by smiling awkwardly while the collapsed person needs help.

A short time later, unverified rumours started to spread that one of Dr. Oz’s kids had a medical emergency in the Oval Office. President Trump briefly stepped away from the podium as the issue developed, and Dr. Oz’s wife, Lisa, looked obviously worried, according to Mirror US.
According to witnesses, the atmosphere in the room abruptly changed from formal to frenetic. Shortly after, aides helped a young girl, who was thought to be Dr. Oz’s daughter, leave the room. Dr. Oz was seen hurrying to help. As of right now, no other information regarding her condition has been disclosed.
Karoline Leavitt took prompt action, formally ending the gathering and removing the media out of the Oval Office. A formal statement regarding the incident has not yet been issued by the White House.

At the time of the incident, Dr. Oz was taking the oath of office as CMS Director during the news conference. President Trump was clearly disturbed when the event abruptly ended due to a family medical issue, and Dr. Oz hurried to help. Later, someone saw a young girl being assisted from the room. They cut the live connection and told the press to leave. It’s still unknown what the medical emergency is, and neither the Trump team nor the Oz family have commented publicly on the matter.
