Tom Cruise’s “New Face” Overshadows His Olympic Stunt
After Sunday’s (August 11) closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, several contended on social media that Tom Cruise had a new look. The Mission: Following H.E.R.’s rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, an impossible star plummeted from the top of the Stade de France. His spectacular motorcycle riding and skydiving feats astounded both sportsmen and spectators.
Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass gave the 62-year-old, who is well-known for performing his own exploits, the Olympic flag to go back to the US after he and Biles navigated a sea of competitors, Fox News reported on Sunday.
The United States city of Los Angeles will host the 2028 Summer Olympics from Friday, July 14, to Sunday, July 30, 2028.
According to Fox News, in a pre-recorded video, Tom rode through the capital city of France and got on an aircraft before heading to the top of the Hollywood sign in the City of Angels, which was set up to display the Olympic rings.
Social media commentators suggested that Tom Cruise has a new look.
The Golden Globe winner denied ever having surgery when Playboy magazine questioned whether he had ever had surgery, saying, “I haven’t and never would.” Rumors of the star having a nose operation first surfaced back in 2012.
Fans remarked on Tom’s appearance at the 2016 BAFTAs, calling him “puffy” and “inflated,” according to The Sun.
Tom was said to have appeared thinner and to have more lines on his forehead during the 2018 Mission Impossible: Fallout premiere.
Kshem told The Daily Mail that “Cruise had a bit too much fat put in,” which may have contributed to the “dramatic” swing.
He clarified: “We don’t advise fat grafting as a filler on its own; patients risk looking worse because you have to add so much to get an impact without a facelift.
It’s also critical that patients understand that fat grafts are somewhat tough to reverse; although other types of filler gradually dissolve over time, fat grafts are permanent.
Tom’s appearance was said to be changing by 2010 and occasionally appearing plumper.
He looks fantastic for his age,” another reader shot back.
