At the age of 77, Princes William and Harry’s trusty bodyguard, Graham Craker, passed away. He spent 35 years working for the royal family, 15 of those years as the princes’ personal guardian. He was known as “Crackers.”
In 1997, Craker was at Balmoral with the young princes when they were informed of Princess Diana’s untimely death. Afterwards, he remembered how William silently thanked him for the news.
Craker walked alongside the hearse with William and Harry during Diana’s funeral. He claimed that Prince William nodded reassuringly, understanding that Craker was present during their mother’s last trip.

The hearse went by while crowds threw flowers and sobbed. People on the other side of the M1 stepped out to bow in respect as even the automobiles stopped.
The film Spare revealed that Prince Harry and William loved their bodyguard Graham Craker, affectionately referring to him as “Crackers.” Even after retiring for ten years, Craker went to William and Kate’s wedding.
After being honoured by Queen Elizabeth II and becoming involved in charitable endeavours in his senior years, Craker continued to be adored by both his community and the royal family.

Tragically, Graham Craker, a devoted volunteer at the Southern Maltings Creative Centre, has died. In a touching ode posted on Facebook on Thursday, the facility affectionately referred to him as “our very own James Bond.”
The post started, “With great sadness, we must announce the passing of our friend and colleague, Graham Craker.”
“Graham has been a part of our adventure since the beginning and has been behind our bar the entire time, ensuring that everyone has the perfect time.
