Man bitten on balls by python while he was sitting on toilet

For many people, taking a five-minute break from their busy workday is synonymous with tranquility, but for one Thai guy, it was anything but.

According to Thanat Thangtewanon, he felt a strong agony rip through his testicles just seconds after sitting on the toilet.

Surprisingly, he was bitten by a large python that was concealed in his home toilet.

Even reading that makes me nauseous.

“I felt something biting my balls,” Thanat remarked, describing the instant he recognized something was gravely wrong. I wanted to see what was wrong, so I placed my hands in the toilet because it hurt so much. That I grasped a snake startled me.

“I got up fast and took it out. Although there was blood all over the place and I was in excruciating pain, what astonished me more was that there was a python in the bathroom.

If you’re squeamish, move on.

Without delay, Thanat reached for a toilet brush and gave the 12-foot snake a good smack.

Before it died, the snake’s hold on the man’s testicles soon relaxed.

After the terrifying event, Thanat was sent to the hospital right after to receive a tetanus shot.

You’d imagine Thanat’s injuries would be rather significant after viewing the bedroom photos and the volume of blood shown.

The damage was not as severe as initially thought, though.

In the end, the doctors informed him that he would require stitches, which would fall out in a few weeks.

“Now my testicles are secure. Fortunately, it wasn’t a poisonous snake. I would have died from a cobra,” he continued.

However, I haven’t used that restroom ever since. Each time I visit, I make sure everything is there by checking inside and inserting a brush.

The reticulated python, as the snake is called, is widespread in Southeast Asia and Thailand.

The species is seen in large towns, however it usually inhabits woodlands, swamps, and canals.

They can therefore interact with the broader people, as Thanat is all too familiar with.

Remarkably, there have been other prior instances of pythons attacking humans when they are using the restroom.

Following an unplanned trip to the bathroom, Attaporn Boonmakchuay had his wife remove a python’s mouth off his penis back in 2016.

Attaporn sadly died from heavy blood loss, but he lived on after receiving medical attention at a hospital.
