Orylan is one of the most tattooed women in the UK – and when she reveals what she looked like before her transformation, most people can’t believe it’s even the same person.
First tattoo when she was 14
Orylan has gained grabbing the attention of over 143,000 followers on Instagram because of her bold and unconventional look.
Her journey of body transformation started when she was only 14 years old and now aged at 26, she’s got tattoos all over her body almost.
But it doesn’t stop there.
The tattoo enthusiast has taken her body modifications to its limits tattooing the whites of her eyes and splitting her tongue laterally to resemble a snake.
Although Orylan admits to having a lot of hate in the online world as well, many are amazed by her dramatic façade and one-of-a-kind way of doing things.
However, she is unashamedly herself – and that her MMO before and after pictures continue to leave people speechless.
“The majority of people will say I should never have changed myself, but beauty is subjective and I believe the way I look today is the beauty to which I have always wanted to attain,” explains, Orylan, NeedToKnow and continues with:
“I believe I can be beautiful both ways but I am much more myself in the skin I am in today. My extremities are my split tongue tattooed eyes and implant in my hand.
‘ I do not have a desire to look like anything in particular. I live day to day, and perhaps I would like to change something in my body. For instance, I’d maybe get more face tattoos and I’d perhaps tattoo my tongue.
Tasting two foods simultaneously
Orylan, when talking about split tongue almost like a snake, says it has some perks also. She’s even gone so far as saying that it enables her to taste two different dishes simultaneously via the peculiar body mod.
Orylan chose to try it out by testing Coke and Sprite at once. She said the mixing of flavors seemed baffling and nothing like anything she had chowed down on previously. The tongue-splitting procedure took her approximately $700 and consisted of anesthetizing the area by means of lidocaine, splitting it down the center, and stitching up both sides separately.
The influencer, who is proud of her peculiar look on Instagram does not let the negativity affect her. Instead, she continues posting photos of herself confidently on social media, that she is proud of her look.
“When some people see my eyes, they stare and point and say nothing, others give me ugly looks, and some will straight up get in my face and say they hate it”, she shared.
Many people say that Orylan resembles a devil – and everyone is utterly astonished with her appearance prior to being transformed.
“The craziest reactions are those of people online hiding behind a screen. They love to say, ‘you look like a demon’ or ‘you were so much prettier before,’ or ‘you must not have had a good childhood’” (Sotelo).
Now Orylan has an offering to make to all the people out there that are contemplating getting their looks transformed by the use of tattoos or any other forms of body modification.
“The best advice I can really offer anyone seeking modification or tattooing is: do it out of love because it will make you happy. We should only do things that make us happy, for me that’s what transforming myself does, so I would like the same thing for other people if that’s what they would like, nothing but love and happiness.
