The well-known talk show presenter fled to England and has refused to return to the United States.
Many have been affected by the political climate in the US, and with the most recent presidential election, some have begun to question whether they want to remain in the nation at all.
Along with her wife Portia de Rossi and their kids, former talk show presenter Ellen DeGeneres has spoken out about her departure and declared that she will “never return.”
The pair has now made their home in the Cotswolds and has no plans to return to America, especially not while Trump is still in power, an anonymous source close to the couple told The Wrap.

The pair, who once owned several properties, including ones in Santa Barbara, and were active real estate speculators in Los Angeles, are making a significant shift.
Site Line claims that since 2006, the pair has made at least $350 million in real estate investments in Santa Barbara.
However, Ellen’s decision to leave the US may have more to do with issues than politics and women’s rights, which have been hotly contested and opposed since Trump took office.
Ellen made a joke at her most recent Netflix comedy special: “I got kicked out of show business.”
Her first significant effort since leaving her long-running talk show due to allegations that it had a poisonous culture is the Netflix special “For Your Approval,” which debuted in September.
Ellen disclosed that the controversy surrounding her program had a profound effect in April of this year when she told Rolling Stone that it had a “toll on my ego and my self-esteem” and that the “extremes in this business” were challenging.
Ellen is not the only well-known celebrity who seems to have left the US since Trump took office; earlier this month, Eva Longoria, star of Desperate Housewives, also left the US for a new location.
After leaving the United States, the Latino celebrity now divides her time between Mexico and Spain.

“I’m privileged,” she had earlier told Marie Claire. I get to go somewhere and get away.
The majority of Americans aren’t as fortunate. They will be stranded in this dystopian nation, and I feel sad and anxious for them.”
“Will you please let them know I didn’t move out of the United States because of Trump?” she asked host Ana Navarro during this week’s appearance on the television program The View, indicating that her decision wasn’t solely due to Trump.
“I’ve been in Europe for almost three years,” she continued.
That’s what the article says, by the way. People have merely used some clickbait to stir up controversy, which saddens me greatly.
“Everything you say is just meant to be divisive when we can’t be that way right now.”
