After splitting up with pro athlete Tom Brady years ago, Bridget Moynahan is finally happy in love again.

Traveling as a single parent
Bridget Moynahan, 52, talks about her unexpected journey as a single mother in a 2008 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I never thought I would have to raise a child by myself,” she added. “I want something like that in my life as a partner, a lover, and a friend.”
The actress and former model was stunned to find out she was going to have a baby. Moynahan also had a hard time because she believed in marriage before she had kids.
In the same interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Moynahan said, “I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage.” I always thought that getting married was the best way to start a family. For a moment, I couldn’t believe that this was how I was going to have a family.
Tom Brady’s love life
According to People, Moynahan’s relationship with former NFL player Tom Brady ended “amicably” in early December 2006. But things changed when she found out she was three months pregnant just after they split up.
Brady had already moved on with supermodel Gisele Bündchen by then (he met her on a blind date the same month he broke up with Moynahan, according to WSJ Magazine), which made matters even more confusing.
Moynahan said that going through a pregnancy and delivering a child while being in the public eye was “traumatic” and made her realize that “I’m not sure anyone—and I could be wrong in this—grows up thinking, ‘I want to be a single mom.'”
Brady and Bündchen got married in February 2009, according to Vogue France. At the time, Moynahan was busy taking care of her kid Jack. Benjamin was born just eleven months after they got married. In December 2012, they had their second child, Vivian. Sadly, they broke up in 2022 after dating for 13 years.
Bündchen said in her memoir about how hard it was for her that Brady and Moynahan were having a kid. “Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant,” she stated. The next day, the story spread like wildfire, changing everything in my life.
Moynahan finally found peace in her son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas, who was born in 2007.
Moynahan loves being a mom.
Moynahan spoke about how hard things were for her in 2019 in her book Our Shoes, Our Selves. She said that being in the public eye made her feel uneasy. “I should have been the happiest person in the world when I had a baby, but instead, I felt attacked,” she wrote.
She enjoyed being a mom, even if it was hard, since she knew it made her happier than her modeling and acting occupations ever could.
Moynahan has expressed a lot of times how much she loves being a mom and how it has altered her life. “I’ve turned into the mother I used to be afraid of.” You think he’s a genius when he does something. She said, “He’s a genius,” according to Harper’s Bazaar.
Meeting Andrew Frankel Moynahan’s life went better when she met Andrew Frankel, 49, through friends. The two got engaged in April 2015, and then they got married in secret at Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York, in October of that year. They invited visitors to send money to The Hole in Wall Gang Camp instead of giving them gifts during the short ceremony that celebrated their love.
