At 63, Carol Vorderman Shares Her Active Lifestyle With Supportive Fans

Carol Vorderman, a 63-year-old TV star, says that her terrific figure and energy come from a mix of healthy habits, confidence, and, believe it or not, sprouts. The former host of Countdown recently shared some of her lifestyle recommendations, such the strange snacks she keeps in her purse, how she stays active, and why she is proud of who she is.

Vorderman told Saga Magazine with a laugh, “I wear a good bra and jeans that hold you up.” She also revealed that she eats only one meal a day, which is normally in the late afternoon.

She enjoys snacking on sprouts. The well-known person from Wales often brings the vegetables with her and eats them all day to stay full and healthy.

Fitness Challenges and Getting Back on Track

Vorderman admits that even though her figure is beautiful, she hasn’t been feeling well lately. She damaged her knee and is currently working on her next novel, What Now? She hasn’t been able to go to the gym in a few months because she is so dedicated to On a Mission to Fix Broken Britain. The star, on the other hand, is still set on it.

She said, “I don’t care what people say about how I look,” brushing off any criticism with confidence. “At this point in my life, I don’t care what other people think of me.”

Vorderman undertakes weight training as part of her fitness routine, which she says helps her stay strong as she gets older. She stated, “It’s the weights you need as you get older.” She also said that her personal trainer, who is also a rugby captain, has helped her reach new heights. “We have a good laugh, but he is definitely making things harder for me.”

She posts videos of her workouts all the time, and most of them show her doing core exercises like squats and planks.

Busting Myths About Her Famous Figure

Vorderman has often rejected rumors that she has had plastic surgery since people keep talking about her body. She went on to say, “I can promise you that I haven’t had any implants in my bottom.” Her body form is natural, which is something that runs in the family. It’s a family thing.

She added that her daughter Katie and even her nephew have the same “sticky-out-bottom” trait that her family does.

Eating properly with a dash of reality

Carol’s eating is just as easy as her working out. She got rid of her scales in 1999 and started paying more attention to how she feels than to a number. She eats nutritious foods, cleanses her body twice a year, and treats herself to something nice every so often.

“It’s not about counting calories,” she said in her book Detox Your Life. “It’s about knowing what we’re eating and focusing on eating more, not less.”

Vorderman likes to juice, but her favorite dishes are shellfish dinners and tuna Niçoise salads. She goes to Jason Vale’s Juice Master Retreats in Portugal a lot. There, guests drink nutrient-rich drinks, do yoga, and meditate.

She reported that after 18 days away in 2022, she lost a dress size. “I have so much energy,” she wrote. “These shorts haven’t fit me in years, and now they’re too big.” “Boom!”

She still doesn’t say no to herself. Vorderman has said that after fasting for a while, she loves substantial breakfasts like bacon and fresh eggs.

Fans are still inspired by Carol Vorderman’s balanced view on health and her no-nonsense way of living. Carol Vorderman is full of confidence, honesty, and realness.
