One of the world’s best environmentalists, Steve Irwin, passed away over 19 years ago.
Steve has an immense affection for all animals. He brought a lot of species to the general people and always spoke lovingly about nature. Furthermore, his children carried on their father’s legacy by continuing his affection for them.
In 2006, Steve passed away while filming at Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. One of the stingrays penetrated his chest.
His breathing was difficult. “We probably wouldn’t have been able to save him, even if we were able to get him into an emergency ward at that moment, because the damage to his heart was massive,” said Justin Lyon, an underwater cameraman and close friend of Steve, on Australia’s Network Ten television.

Terri and Steve were wed for 14 years after meeting in 1991. He once revealed on his show that he knew Terri was the one the instant he laid eyes on her. Steve referred to it as “love at first sight.”
Since Steve’s untimely death, Terri has done everything she can to preserve his legacy. She has frequently admitted throughout the years that she still longs for her husband.
In April 2025, Terri acknowledged that she is still unmarried in an interview with Stellar Magazine.

“I think women are still amazing, fulfilled, incredible people – even if you never get married, have two kids, four kids, or no kids,” Terri continued.

It was previously reported that Terri Irwin was seeing actor Russell Crowe.
She disputed it, saying the award-winning actor was a personal friend of her family.
