Layla endured a sad routine for twelve years: every year, her husband, Tom, went on a family vacation without her or their two children. Tom always blamed her exclusion on his mother’s alleged “rule” that in-laws were not allowed on the trip. Last year, however, the incident came to light when Layla discovered a series of images on social media. Among the holiday photos, she noticed Tom smiling alongside Sadie, his brother’s wife.
