The awful photos from Texas after the big flash flood have devastated everyone. It’s awful to hear the sad stories coming out of the southern state about how people tried to save their lives. Now, another one of those stories has come out.
Someone informed the NY Post that a husband wouldn’t let go of his baby’s hand as he was holding on to a tree, and the river snatched him away.

More than 100 people have died in Texas because of the big flash flood. The rescue mission is still going on since a lot of people are still missing and the destruction is too terrible to imagine.
The girls’ camp, Camp Mystic, has said that at least 27 youngsters and adults have perished. At this point, 11 people are still missing.
“Our hearts are broken, and so are those of our families who are going through this terrible tragedy.” “We are always praying for them,” the camp declared on its website. They added said they are still seeking for the “missing girls” and are in touch with the authorities in the area.
“We ask that you keep praying for us and give each of our families the time and space they need.” “May the Lord continue to wrap His presence around all of us,” the message said at the end.

A resident shares a harrowing story of how his dad and babies were swept away.
During the huge nightmare, many died trying to save other people. Dick Eastland, the head of Camp Mystic, was one of the people who tried to get kids to safety, but sadly, he died.
George Eastland, his grandson, wrote on Instagram, “If he wasn’t going to die of natural causes, this was the only other way to save the girls he loved and cared for.” ABC said. He was a spouse, father, grandfather, and teacher to thousands of young women. He is no longer with us, but the people whose lives he changed will always remember him.
More and more people are coming forward with scary stories of what they saw during the horrific flash flood as time goes on. Lorena Guillen runs the Blue Oak RV Park in Kerr County, which was hit worst by the severe floods. She recalls a heartbreaking day when a father clung on to a tree while holding his babies and wouldn’t let those who were attempting to help take the kids. Soon after, they were all gone.
“My husband was in the water pleading them, ‘Please throw me your baby! “The man was holding on to his babies tightly, and then he was swept away,” Lorena Guillen told the NY Post.

People yelled all night long.
KWTX says that John Burges, who lived in Liberty, Texas, is the father. His wife, Julia, and two sons are still missing. Their daughter, on the other hand, is safe at a nearby summer camp. The family slept at an RV park that Guillen owns over the Fourth of July weekend.
Guillen continued, “The kids were so happy to be here.” She also said that the whole RV park was destroyed and that she would never forget how horrific it was to hear people screaming as they were swept away.
“We heard people cry all night long. The cabins from the RV park next door were floating and hitting the trees. “Help me!” “Help me!” was the most essential thing. “That was too much.” There was a lot of yelling.
Lorena Guillen stated she couldn’t sleep, so she went to the water’s edge in the middle of the night.
“My husband and I ran down. At that point, the first level of the RVs was already gone. The river rose almost ten feet at that time. Since they were closest to the water, a family of five was stuck. Their RV was moving away from them. “It was so dark that it was pitch black,” she claimed.
We will always remember the people who died in this awful catastrophe. We are praying for the victims and their families and thinking about them.
