“This Dog’s Rare Appearance Had People Mistaking Him for a ‘Werewolf'”

I was driving around an orchard near Madera Ranchos, California, when I came across a peculiar animal that looked like a “werewolf.” It was standing by the side of the road. Nobody dared to even look at him since he had a patch of fur that was unkempt, he was thin, and he was balding.

The poor animal, whose skin was rough and scaly and whose tail was broken and pointed, remained the subject of no one’s attention for a number of months. There was only a small amount of black fur left, and it was on his head and neck.

Due to the fact that everyone thought he was dangerous and it was obvious that he was sick, people would ignore him whenever they were in the vicinity of him by turning a blind eye.

An angel in the form of a human being, fortunately, made the decision that this dog was worthy of her time one day. After stopping to see how the poor dog was doing, the woman made the decision to start a call for assistance. After that, a different kind-hearted woman by the name of Megan Bowe responded to the distress call. “I was about ready to cry when I saw how bad off he was,” Megan, who is the founder of Bowe’s Adoptable Rescued Pup, said in an interview with The Dodo.”

Indeed, he was on the verge of passing away. He was so depressed that he could hardly pull himself up to his feet.

Soon after, Megan came to the realization that this “werewolf” was, in fact, a German shepherd mix that had been neglected and was in a very sick state. He was given the name King, and she went to a veterinarian’s clinic as soon as she could.

Meghan and the doctors came to the conclusion that it would be best to treat each of the diseases that King was suffering from individually. In addition to his damaged pelvis and broken tail, he also suffered from scabies, which required surgical treatment. His broken pelvis was also broken.

Megan explained that her veterinarian believes that the dog was struck by a car, which would explain why his tail was so messed up as well. Because by the time I received him, the damage had already begun to heal in an inappropriate manner, it had occurred some months previously. And because of the damage to his pelvis, he was unable to move around very much on his own in order to search for food, which resulted in his being severely underweight and experiencing dehydration.

In reality, King was only one year old, but his health condition made him appear to be much older than he actually was. Megan was required to assign him to a distinct portion of the facility where she kept the other animals that she was responsible for caring for because of the diseases that he had, some of which were infectious.

Fortunately, King started eating, and he was able to increase the amount of food he consumed on a daily basis.

King was prepared to undergo the surgery that was so desperately required for his shattered pelvis and tail as his condition gradually improved.

Additionally, the operations were a complete success!

In spite of the fact that it took him some time to regain the ability to walk, he was able to accomplish the seemingly impossible and stand on his own two feet once more with the assistance of Megan and the veterinarians.

In the near future, Megan is hoping that King will be able to be placed for adoption. Her only wish is that he will be welcomed into a loving family and that he will be provided with a home that is filled with love.

“It’s hard to think that all those cars passed him by and never stopped. No one wanted to bring him home or assist him because he appeared to be in such a terrible state… Megan stated that all that was required was a single individual.

With the help of individuals such as Megan, who was prepared to intervene, and the woman who called for assistance, this world is transformed into a significantly more favorable environment.
