Police Presence at Colorado Club Leads to Major Migrant Detention

A Colorado nightclub operation by police in the early morning hours resulted in the immediate arrest of 114 illegal foreign migrants.

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division declared with local authorities and federal agents at three in the morning on Sunday that a multi-agency enforcement operation was underway.

The nightclub patrons released from the building faced a line of guards who carried weapons as female guests in formal attire remained confused about the events.

Police officers forced entry into the illicit venue while their rifles pointed at a female who was using a phone until she lost her balance and fell to the ground.

When the officers entered the nightclub the person quickly sank to his knees and wildy raised both hands toward them. A different person dropped his beer bottle after the officers appeared before obeying their commands.

The police used sirens and shouted instructions for people to hit the ground despite others who were both weeping and attempting to escape.

The DEA reported that the operation formed part of their probe into violent crimes and prostitution activities and drug trafficking that took place at the club.

The authorities made their way to an underground club located in Colorado Springs which serves as a one-hour drive from Aurora where the Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua operates.

Members from three different organizations including the Hell’s Angels gang, MS-13 and Tren de Aragua have been documented visiting the concealed club. DEA Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen indicated that investigators do not know how many members participated when executing the raid.

More than thirteen active members of the military were at the location both monitoring security and enjoying the establishment. The US Army Criminal probe Division started investigating the individuals based on the findings by Pullen.

Many individuals encountered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement received prison sentences because they were undocumented immigrants in the United States. During the raid agents from the agency seized weapons together with illegal drugs.

During the investigation ‘Tusi’ or pink cocaine was recognized as one of the seized drugs according to Pullin. The investigators currently test at least twelve tiny packages to identify which chemicals are stored inside.

Pullen announced and said Colorado Springs started its day with enhanced safety during Sunday morning.

The dramatic surveillance footage captured the collective police approach as officers boxed in the premises to allow one officer to break through the glass window.

Law enforcement officers displayed their guns as they ordered multiple victims to hold up their hands during the operation.

The arrests led to people finding warrants but Pullen stated those taken into custody would receive federal immigration charges.

Pullen indicated the drug offense charges are unlikely due to the challenging evidence of drug possession during the operation.
