Golden Globes tribute to Keith Urban by Nicole Kidman melts hearts
Nicole Kidman missed naming two of her children in her thank address at the Golden Globes ceremony, but she did not forget to give her husband Keith Urban a moving emotional memory.
And speaking of music, on receiving Best Actress in a TV Miniseries or Movie, Kidman delivered her final speech, finishing it with this ode to Keith Urban: When my cheek is on yours, everything dissolves– and that is love. “It’s true. I am crazy about you.”
When the camera kept zooming in, Urban appeared quite emotional- licking his lips and struggling not to cry. He answered by a small expressive motion of imperceptible importance: he laid his hand to his heart and patted it.
Fans could not imagine a sweeter moment, and viewers were not able to stop revisiting the scene, and it was reminiscent to them of the inimitable bond between these two.
It even brought tears to the eyes of Big Little Lies co-star Reese Witherspoon. As soon as Kidman said Urban, Witherspoon turned to him with a smile, obviously happy about the passionate moment.
Backstage just before Kidman went on to perform, she made a cute, unintentional gaffe as she leaned in to kiss Urban–an accident that underscored how real their relationship would turn out to be.
Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006, nevertheless, are still beaming with the happiness and nearness of new spouses. Their involvement has ranged between the red carpet stage to tributes at award ceremonies, and still holds firm.
