The children of JD Vance stole hearts at the inaugural ceremony, and their photos are “too cute for words.”
The newly elected vice president’s adorable children won hearts and ignited social media at the inauguration, making J.D. Vance’s family the focal point of attention during the event.
The photographs that were taken of James David (J.D.) Vance and his family, which included his wife Usha and their three children, Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel, were taken at the inauguration of the newly elected Vice President on January 20. These photographs have captured the hearts of internet users all over the country.
In one of the photographs, the Vice President is seen holding his daughter Mirabel, who is dressed in a cream-coloured outfit with tights and shoes, while he waves to the crowd. He is dressed in a dark blue suit. While walking next to J.D., Usha is seen holding the hands of their children, Vivek and Ewan, who are both clothed in blue outfits that are identical to one another. Her outfit consists of a dress in a delicate pink colour and grey boots.
Other occurrences that were documented shed even more emphasis on the deep bonds that exist throughout the households. Usha has a delighted expression on her face as she stands at J.D.’s side and holds Mirabel when J.D. raises his hand during the ritual of swearing in. The second close-up of J.D. cradling his daughter is shown here. The scene is given a beautiful and whimsical touch by the fact that she is sucking her thumb as her bangs frame her face and the rest of her fingers appear to be coated in brilliant colours.
In a another photograph, J.D. can be seen having a conversation with his two sons, Vivek and Ewan, while crouched down. It is possible to see one of the boys leaning on a railing while in possession of his pet bear.
Members of the internet community on Facebook and X were captivated by the photographs of the Vance family and could not stop gushing about how charming they were. “What a wonderful family,” a commenter wrote on the story. The children are so precious that it is difficult to put them into words. “What a wonderful family!” exclaimed another person.
Similar sentiments were expressed by a different reader, who wrote, “J. D. Vance has the CUTEST daughter.” She is really adorable 😍 [sic]. An further supporter remarked that “Vance’s little daughter looks exactly like him.” How adorable!
There were further internet critics who referred to the Vance family as “lovely,” and another user lauded the merits of the children’s beauty. One viewer felt compassion for the children after seeing how fatigued they appeared to be after a long day, despite the fact that they were still lovely. JD’s family was bestowed with genuine blessings by another individual, who expressed their desire for happiness to his wife and children.
Another individual expressed their delight at the presence of a young family at the White House. They remarked that the Vances’ warm and endearing demeanour was accentuated by relatable moments, such as the youngest son holding his teddy bear and the daughter finding comfort in the arms of her parents.

Despite the fact that the exact date of their second son Vivek’s birth has not been made public, J.D. recounted a significant fishing trip that he took with his son, who was four years old at the time, in the state of Michigan in October of 2024.
In one of the photographs, J.D. is shown holding Vivek close to the fishing poles, and in another, the child is seen receiving a fish from his father. There are further images that show them on the dock, where Vivek is seen assisting a travel companion with equipment related to fishing.
The vice president has also discussed his experiences as a father in an open and honest manner. In an episode of the Ruthless Podcast, Vance discussed the memorable experiences he shared with one of his kids following the vice presidential debate that took place in October 2024.
“Is it me or one of them that I take out with me? We have such young children—seven, four, and two,” he asked. “It’s because we have such young children.” You should know that we went through the complete hotel process. Not only was he able to watch a movie, but he was also able to consume a significant amount of junk food, which is something that his mother would normally not allow him to ingest.
“We have a king-sized bed, and I’m on one little corner of it, and he still finds some way to sleep with, it’s like, a foot in my neck last night,” J.D. remarked in answer to a question about one of his son’s sleeping positions that was posed by one of the podcast presenters.
