“Geraldo’s Next Move: Joining ‘The View’ After Leaving FNC”

A celebration of the publishing of “The Geraldo Show: A Memoir” by Geraldo Rivera took place at Del Frisco’s on April 2, 2018, in New York City. Geraldo Rivera was there at the event. Geraldo Rivera, a former presenter on Fox News, was recently terminated from the program known as “The Five,” in which he appeared and engaged in debates with Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters among other guests. Following that, he made the decision to entirely leave Fox News, believing that he had reached the end of his relationship with the network and his conflicts with it.

Another factor that contributed to his decision to leave was the long-running conflict he had with Greg Gutfeld.Consequently, now that Geraldo has left his position at Fox News, he will be making a guest appearance on “The View” with ABC. On his Twitter account, he made the announcement, saying, “Delighted to do TheView Thursday.” I’m curious about the questions they’ll ask me.

Even though the comment was made in jest, they will most likely question him about his time spent at Fox News and the reasons he left the network. They will try to convince him to criticize the network for its defense of President Donald Trump at times and for not being sufficiently committed to “our democracy.” However, there are a number of other topics that they could ask him about in order to excite its audience that is becoming increasingly aware of the world around them.

His justification of affirmative action program is one example. During one of his final appearances on Fox News, Geraldo defended the policy that was based on race and labeled himself as a product of it. He said, “I was a product of affirmative action more than half a century ago… There were no black reporters, no Hispanic reporters, and no women on the local news teams in New York when the Ford Foundation and Columbia Journalism School collaborated to integrate the local news teams.

Continuing, he stated that he was selected to be one of the diverse candidates because the lack of diversity was “shocking.” He noted that this statement was made. This is what he had to say: “And it was surprising. That was as late as 1968 or 1969, if you will. As a result, I was chosen.

As the representative of a group of Puerto Rican activists known as the Young Lords, I was making headlines because they had taken control of a few buildings in the Spanish Harlem neighborhood. Moreover, I served as both their attorney and their negotiator. And I was the spokesperson for them, so I made a lot of press, too. As a result, I was found out in this manner, and they recruited me through the Columbia program; the rest, as they say, is history.

In addition to the controversy surrounding affirmative action and his departure from Fox News, “The View” might inquire about his conflict with Greg Gutfeld, one of the few hosts that is still affiliated with Fox News and who attracts a significant amount of viewers annually. He did told the Associated Press, “There has been a growing tension that goes beyond editorial differences and personal annoyances and gripes.” This is despite the fact that Geraldo has declined to speak on his battles with Geraldo in the past. I don’t think it’s worth it to me.”

Now that he is no longer employed by Fox News and does not have to engage in daily debates with Gutfeld and Watters, it is possible that he would elaborate further on the factors that contributed to the acrimonious nature of his disagreements with Gutfeld.

But it’s equally possible that he won’t. He added, “I love Fox and the people at Fox,” as he was leaving his position at Fox News. I will always do so. Neither of us will ever be separated by anyone else. I cannot express how thankful I am, and I love you for it. To put it another way, it’s possible that he has no ill will toward you and would like to retire in peace rather than start a protracted argument. Only time will tell.
