Donald Trump Appears in White Shirt and Red Hat During Recent Outing at 79

The 79-year-old president, who was wearing his famous red MAGA hat, brushed off rumors as he and his grandchildren traveled to his golf club in Virginia.

Donald Trump, who is usually a strong and steady presence on the national stage, was gone for a few days. This led to strange claims on the internet that he had died.

At 8:45 a.m. on August 30, 2025, people saw the 79-year-old president for the first time. He came back into the public eye sporting his iconic red “Make America Great Again” hat, black jeans, and a white polo shirt.

He was with his grandson Spencer Frederick Trump and his teenage granddaughter Kai Trump. They were put in a car that was waiting for them and would transport them to Sterling, Virginia, where his favorite golf club was located.

When the White House posted a blank Labor Day weekend calendar earlier this week that didn’t show any public events, people started to worry about Trump’s health.

After witnessing the president at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, several individuals on the internet were worried about his health and whether or not he was still alive.

One commenter on the internet commented, “We didn’t see our last president for days at a time.” Why make quick decisions after just a few days? once Trump was back in the spotlight.

Some folks weren’t that open-minded. One person sarcastically said, “It’s his clone lol.” Someone another responded, “Dude, that’s not even him!” Someone else on the internet poked fun of the president’s famous branded apparel by asking, “Does he have clothes that DON’T have his name on them?”

People on the internet didn’t like that Trump put his name on his clothes. Some people joked that it was there in case he forgot who he was. Some people felt he looked ill and even said he looked like a character from “Weekend at Bernie’s.”

People also noticed that the president didn’t appear to care about having his famed haircut anymore. Some people assumed this was a sign that he was getting elderly or unwell. Others, however, completely ignored the trend and said that the president’s frequent golf outings were indication that he was doing well.

Vice President JD Vance talked about how ready he was to lead if he had to and defended Trump’s health in public while rumors were flying around online. In an interview with USA TODAY on August 27, Vance defended his troubled boss. He also talked about the topic that keeps coming up: what if something bad happens?

“The president is in great shape. Vance noted that Trump regularly worked harder than staff people who were decades younger than him. He said, “He’s got incredible energy.”

He said, “He makes the last phone call at night and the first phone call in the morning.”

Vance recognized that age and danger were bad things, but he was sure that Trump was still fit to serve. The senator from Ohio who became vice president talked about the “what ifs” that detractors have been talking about in a very honest way.

“Yes, bad things do happen. He remarked with confidence, “But I’m sure the president of the United States is doing well, will finish his term, and will do great things for the American people.”

Vance also said that he thought he would be terrible in the job. The 40-year-old vice president looked serious about his position barely 200 days into it. He went on, “And if, God forbid, something terrible happens, I can’t think of a better way to learn on the job than what I’ve done in the last 200 days.”

There have been talks about Trump’s health before. He has been in the news a lot lately since pictures from a recent press conference seemed to show makeup on his hand. People are more interested in and guessing about his health because of what happened.

Trump’s right hand was obviously covered in a patch of lighter-toned foundation during a briefing in the Oval Office. He tried to hide his makeup by putting his left hand over his right, but it was still evident as he stood up to welcome FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who had just come from Italy.

People instantly started asking questions after pictures of the event became popular on the internet. People on the internet observed that the person looked like they were wearing makeup. Someone said, “It looks like makeup.” Someone else said, “It’s base makeup.” It was probably put on top of a bruise. What is the point?

Some people mentioned they didn’t like the app itself as much. One person commented, “The big glob of discolored foundation on President Donald Trump’s hand today makes me wonder if they are even trying to blend it right.”

People started to worry about their health soon after. Could someone please explain the patch on Donald Trump’s hand? Someone on the internet said, “Looks weird.” Someone another commented, “Look at how he hides the bruises on his right hand by covering it with his left.”

People were worried about Trump’s health when they reacted more harshly. One commentator said, “This man is having a hard time.” “Hands that are bruised.” Some people thought that there might be further problems.

Someone asked, “What happened to Trump’s hand?” “Is something wrong with his left hand?” asked another person. The fingers look puffy, and they are all the same length.

People are already looking at Trump’s hands. When they saw him in July with swollen legs and what appeared like bruises on his hand, they were anxious about his health.

Karoline Leavitt was the White House Press Secretary at the time. She talked about the worries in a meeting and brought up a medical review by the White House Medical Unit.

Captain Sean Barbabella, Trump’s doctor, said that the 79-year-old Trump had a “full examination, including diagnostic vascular studies.” The assessment showed that the client had chronic venous insufficiency. The letter added that this illness is “benign and common, especially in people over the age of 70.”

Reports suggest that Trump experienced “mild swelling in his lower legs” for a few weeks before the tests were asked for. Leavitt said, “Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or arterial disease,” which means that the doctor didn’t find anything wrong. The lab results were likewise “within normal limits.”

Barbabella added that Trump’s echocardiography and vascular testing did not indicate any evidence of systemic disease, kidney difficulties, or heart failure. Even though he promised to do these things, the most recent pictures have sparked a new public debate about Trump’s health and looks.

As we indicated earlier, Trump came to the roof of the White House in an unusual fashion. He supposedly crossed the roof on August 5, 2025, wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and red tie, with security officers close behind.

People who use social media responded right away to the shocking scene. Someone said, “Maybe he got lost?” Some folks made funny comments. Someone said, “It looks like the nurses weren’t watching him for a minute.”

Someone else said, “Lol, he likes to feel on top of the world so much that he has to climb on top of the White House to feel powerful and important lol [sic].” Someone else said, “This is making me laugh.”

People on the internet kept answering. “Not his house!” said another person. Someone else watching said, “He acts like he owns the place.” Not his, but “the house of the people!” Another person said, “I can’t believe the secret service [sic] let him up there 🤡🤣🎯🎯🎯.”

Some people gave a more positive view between the jokes. Someone inquired, “A new look for the president?” I can’t wait to see how it looks now! 🥳 Someone else said, “Honestly, it’s great to see a president who gets things done.” Like our country, the White House could use some work. Let’s finish it.

While Trump was on the roof, reporters yelled at him from the ground. “Mr. President, what are you doing up there?” someone yelled. That’s what ABC News says. “Just taking a little walk,” Trump said.

When someone asked him what he was creating, he said, “It goes with the ballroom, which is on the other side.” He waved his hands and said, “Something nice.”
