Brad Pitt is reportedly not ready to ‘give up’ on his estranged children
Brad Pitt makes firm decision about kids amid Angelina Jolie legal feud
Brad Pitt is reportedly not ready to ‘give up’ on his children amid his legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
For the unversed, the former power couple’s first-born daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, has submitted a petition at the LA court to remove her father’s last name from her surname.
Not only this, Shiloh’s older sister, Zahara and her youngest sister, Vivienne, have introduced themselves with their mother’s surname at public events.
Now, an insider told US Weekly that the Fight Club actor “was devastated by this choice.”
The source added, “To him, it was more than a change of name — it was a symbol of a deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years.”
The report shared that the Bullet Train actor “doesn’t have much of a relationship with his kids,” however, “he’s not ready to give up on them, but knowing they are dropping his name is upsetting.”
On the other side, Brad’s estranged kids have “struggled to forgive and connect with” him since his messy divorce with Angelina.
“Their mom is the head of the household, and she’s raised them with love and selflessness their whole lives. Once Brad left, it was very hard for them to see him go to war with her,” stated the source.
It is important to mention that the ex-Hollywood pair parted ways in 2016. Since then, Brad and Angelina have been settling their legal matters in court.
The duo shares Shiloh, 17, Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.
