As a parent, it is always a sweet feeling to expand your family, more so with someone you love and are on the same page with.
Alec Baldwin got married to his wife Hilaria in 2012 and since then the two have been growing their family together…
Alec Baldwin got acquainted with his wife Hilaria Baldwin in 2011 and got married to her in 2012.
The couple did not waste much time and had their first child in 2013. They had four other children together and then had a sixth child through a surrogate.

In April 2021, they announced that they were having their seventh child together- people were thrilled at the news of the couple and happy that they were expanding their beautiful family.
Hilaria announced the birth of her daughter on her Instagram page with much excitement. She shared a set of photos and videos on her page with the caption: She is here! We are so thrilled to present to you our little dream come true, ilaria catalina irena”.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin were criticized when they had the seventh child
It is the eighth child born to Alec Baldwin, but the seventh child born to his current wife Hilaria. He has his eldest daughter, Ireland Baldwin, with his former wife Kim Basinger.

In the Instagram post mentioned above, Hilaria provided some information regarding the new member of her and Alec family. She posted that their daughter was born on September 22, 2022, and weighed 6 lbs. and 13 ounces. She continued: “She and I are happy and healthy.”
She later posted another message about how thrilled the rest of her children are about the latest addition to their family, saying: “Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home.”
She ended the caption by saying: Much love to you all. We are so glad to share this great news with you.”
The couple issued an official birth announcement through People Magazine, which stated: How blessed we are to have our newest little girl in the world. As magical and as full of love as all the other little people we have been blessed with.”
Although the couple obviously loves their family, Hilaria Baldwin recently revealed that not everyone gets their logic as to why it is so… big. She recently wrote: 7th baby: when people ask or comment, we usually resort to ridiculous and very self-deprecating jokes on my part. I like to laugh at myself- so it is all good…keeps me sane. Jokes aside, though, I am thankful to have this experience.
She elaborated on her thoughts and said: I am all too familiar with the pleasures and the pains, the beauty and the heartbreak, that motherhood can bring. I have been taught to appreciate and accept the beautiful, the difficult, the awkward, the enchanted, and the unfamiliar of this amazing process that I am so lucky to go through over and over again.”

The couple is evidently pleased with their family and are virtually beaming at their new addition but not all people congratulated them. Indeed, some people had much to comment on the name of their newborn: Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin.
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have a reputation of choosing unusual names to their children, which are often of Spanish origin. But following the news that Hilaria is not Spanish, and the scandal that followed her supposed use of a fake Spanish accent and misrepresentation of her background in 2020, people were surprised by the name they chose to give their seventh child.
Her shameless attempts to be Spanish are quite annoying, why is it acceptable? Why does she continue to make attempts? Someone wrote: Have they got it to their heads so much.
One Twitter user posted: Fake Spanish name born in Boston to a mom, another added: Hilaria and Alec Baldwin had their 7th child. No American name, not even a middle name.”
One of them stated: Alec Baldwin wife pretending to be Spanish is insane. Renaming herself Hilaria instead of Hillary, giving all 7 of their children names with those origins, forgetting the english word cucumber, putting on an accent. She ought to have renamed herself to funny.”
But others have noted that Ilaria is in fact Italianized Hilary. It is a happy word, and was among the more popular Italian girl names in 2006.
