Elon Musk and The Simpsons: Are They Really Predicting the Future Again?

After a character was compared to Elon Musk in yet another unsettling prediction, fans declared that The Simpsons is “always right.”

The global epidemic and Donald Trump’s election as president are just two examples of the numerous historical events that The Simpsons have been known to accurately predict. Fans, however, assert that the show has “done it again” with regard to technologist Elon Musk.

Fans have likened the tech CEO’s recent chainsaw-wielding antics to those of the cartoon classic’s nemesis, Hank Scorpio.

While discussing a variety of political topics at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, February 19, the tech billionaire was spotted circling the stage with a chainsaw. He started off by asserting that Joe Biden has “failed” to rescue astronauts who are currently stranded in space.

In his new position as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, he is currently traveling to the federal government, and it appears that the electric tool was a reference to the chainsaw.

The ‘You Only Move Twice’ episode, in which the Simpson family decides to move to a picturesque village where Homer has secured a new job, features Musk, the villainous Simpsons character that has been compared to Musk.

He later learns, however, that the villain in question, Scorpio, his new boss, is determined to conquer the world.

The character is seen brandishing a flamethrower in the latter moments, which is also one of the most notable parallels between the two.

In 2018, Musk began selling flamethrowers and reportedly generated about $10 million off the invention.

Fans of the show are not the only ones who have drawn comparisons between him and the malevolent antagonist; Musk has done it before.

He stated in a 2019 post on X: “Just because I have a flamethrower and he has one doesn’t mean … ok fine I’m Hank Scorpio.”

In light of Musk’s recent appointment to a government position by President Trump and his strengthening ties to the United States, viewers swiftly caught up with the show’s most recent prediction.

“Elon Musk takes over Springfield in a Simpsons episode,” one person commented. and does his current actions. It’s always the Simpsons.

An additional person stated: “Elon Musk is Hank Scorpio. A third wrote: “Elon Musk has now reached the Hank Scorpio stage of being a billionaire,” highlighting the necessity to confront this fact.

“Elon Musk talks a big game about high minded sci-fi, but so far the only piece of fiction he’s actually managed to bring to life is The Simpsons,” commented another.

The billionaire has recently made news for his kids, including getting backlash online for taking three of them to an Indian political gathering.

On February 13, his three-year-old brothers Azure and Strider, together with his four-year-old son X Æ A-12, accompanied the Tesla creator to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Grimes, his ex-partner, also publicly urged him to cease “ignoring their child’s medical crisis” before quickly removing the tweets.
