Justin Trudeau’s insensitive remarks about Donald Trump have made headlines this week.
On Thursday night, February 19, the Canadian Prime Minister attended a 4 Nations Faceoff Championship hockey game in Boston, where his side defeated the United States. Following the game, he released a devastating five-word political message.
After the 3-2 win, the 53-year-old posted a comment on social media, teasing his presidential neighbor while also applauding the accomplishment.
On X (previously Twitter), Trudeau posted, “You can’t take our country.” Since then, the remark has garnered almost 206,000 “likes” and 36,000 “retweets.” Additionally, he added, “And you can’t take our game,”

In case you were perplexed by the fervent declaration made by the departing leader, it follows a slew of purported remarks made by 78-year-old Republican Trump regarding making Canada the “51st state” in the United States.
Trump had threatened the American hockey players during a call with them prior to the game, according to Team USA manager Bill Guerin, who talked to The Athletic after the game.
According to reports, the divisive president even called his Canadian rival “Governor Trudeau” during the conversation.
Trump’s social media platform Truth Social posted a clip of his video call with Team USA, in which the father of five can be heard complimenting them: “You guys are really talented,” even if it appears that these parts were cropped.
I’m an avid hockey fan and hold players in high regard. I’m a hockey fan. Your expertise and talent are incredible.”
“Just go out and have fun tonight,” he continued. I just wanted to say good luck to you.

However, Trudeau apparently took notice of Trump’s comments on Canada and posted his scathing five-word retort online.
The Canadian prime minister reportedly has less faith in Trump’s backroom intentions, despite his strong position on the issue.
The New York Post claims that earlier this month, when meeting behind closed doors with business and labor leaders, the father of three was overheard inadvertently stating his fears over the loudspeaker, calling Trump’s aspirations to invade the country “a real thing.”
“I think that not only does the Trump administration know how many critical minerals we have, but that may even be why they keep talking about absorbing us and making us the 51st state,” attendees later told The Daily Beast, reacting to Trudeau’s unintentional announcement.
They are well aware of our assets and what we have, and they fervently hope to take use of them.
Nevertheless, Mr. Trump is aware that absorbing our nation is among the simplest ways to accomplish it. Furthermore, it is a reality.
