She commented, “There were a couple of times when I wasn’t sure he was going to make it.” She was referring to the times when she was concerned about the future.
Nelson, however, remained true to his character and kept his signature wit by remarking, “COVID ain’t nothing to laugh at, that’s for sure.” The fact that he is able to maintain his sense of humor in spite of the challenges he is facing is evidence of the strength of his character.
