I Found the Babysitter Coming Out of the Shower While My Husband Was Home — Here’s What Happened

One day, when a woman came home and sought for her children’s nanny, she was shocked to discover her wet from a shower. Even more amazing was that her husband was there and agreed with the nanny when his wife was scared!

Okay, here’s what went down. We hired a babysitter for our three kids because we both had a lot of work to do all the time. Everything was fine till yesterday… I got there at 6 p.m. and she was already there with wet hair!

She said she had to shower because my child spilled milk on her. I pay the babysitter to look after mine and my husband’s kids, who are all under six. She said the kids were OK while she took a quick shower because they were sleeping, which made me feel better.

I was irritated when I said, “I still don’t think it’s okay for you to shower in my house.”
I was more confused that my husband was home and that he agreed with the babysitter. What happened made me feel bad. Both sides ended things with me, and the babysitter went home.

So, the next day, before I went to work, I decided to put the old nanny camera that had been hanging around and collecting dust to use. I put it in the living room before I left for work, and no one knew it was there.

Less than an hour later, I checked the camera again and saw my husband, who had gone to work, coming in through the door. When he walked up to our nanny, my heart sunk.

I told my boss I was sick and needed to go home, but I was in a daze. I hurried home, afraid and worried about what might happen next. But what I found was my spouse making food.

What I witnessed was hard to believe. Did I get cheated on or what? When my partner saw that I was angry, he looked at me with concern.

“Why are you home so early?” he asked. I told him that they let me go home early since the systems went down because of a power outage.

Instead, he would go home, look for work online, and help take care of the kids. He went on to say:

“Yes, our daughter spilled milk on our nanny yesterday. I told her to wash everything while I watched the kids who were sleeping.”

What happened with the babysitter? He said, “It was an accident.”

“That’s why I was home yesterday.” And why the nanny was… it was an accident, he said.

He said, “I was scared.” “I was scared of how you would react and seeing disappointment in your eyes.” I wanted to fix things before you had to worry about it, too. We sat down.

“And what about the babysitter?” At last, I inquired.
“She was just as shocked as you are about all of this.” He remarked, “She’s been very understanding, even though we put her in a strange situation.”

“I guess I should say sorry to her then. And… thanks for trying to keep things running smoothly. I really wish you had told me. He spoke. “I know.” I’m sorry. From now on, no more secrets. “We’ll get through this together.”

That night, we finally talked. It hurt, but it also made me happy. We talked about how vital it is to be open and honest, and we agreed that not talking to each other had hurt our marriage.

The babysitter, who had no idea she was in the heart of our family problems, ended up being an unanticipated change agent.

We apologized for the mistake and thanked her for understanding and taking care of our family when things were hard.

My husband and I pledged to keep her on as a babysitter because she was responsible and kind. This terrible moment will make our family stronger and more able to handle tough times.

It tells us that love and understanding can help us get through tough times.
