The police are probing into the murders of Thomas Deluca and Robin Kaye, who was a well-known music supervisor for American Idol. They are being looked into as a double murder. LAPD police ran a welfare check on Monday and located the couple at home in Encino.
Police said that when they got to the house, they saw blood near the front entrance. They broke a window to go in because they couldn’t talk to anyone inside. When they got inside, they found Robin and Thomas dead, probably from gunshot wounds.
They reported the two were deceased at the scene. The police think it was a double murder, but they don’t know anything about it and haven’t arrested anyone yet.
After not hearing from the couple for four days, family members are said to have asked for a welfare check. It’s not clear who made the call. The cops alerted the neighbors about the lack of communication throughout the visit.
It hasn’t been long since the surprising find. Last Thursday, someone called the police to say they witnessed a suspect trying to break in. TMZ stated that someone who was not known was seen trying to get in and may have had a pistol.
People who lived nearby called the police to say they witnessed someone jump over the fence. Police came and looked around, but they didn’t uncover any signs that someone had broken in. There was also a police helicopter that went over the area, but it didn’t locate anything.

Robin Kaye worked in television for a long time and did quite well. According to her IMDb page, she was the music supervisor on American Idol for at least 15 seasons. She won multiple times at the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards for her work on the show. Sky News claims she has also been a music supervisor for Lip Sync Battle and other notable events.
A lot of people in the entertainment industry are still startled by her death. Kaye helped shape the sound of some of the most successful TV music shows in the past few years. People said she had a good ear and was creative.
