Wimbledon Crowd Surprised by Kate Middleton’s Unexpected Move

The Princess of Wales attended to the Ladies’ and Men’s Singles Finals over the weekend.

The Princess of Wales and the folks in charge of Wimbledon got in trouble this week after people spotted her break a very important rule.

Kate Middleton attended to both the men’s and women’s singles finals over the weekend. She and her husband, Prince William, and their two oldest kids, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 10, went to the Men’s Singles Final on Sunday, July 13.

Kate wore a royal blue dress and led her family to their seats. Jannik Sinner of Italy beat Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in a thrilling encounter.

People in the UK know that the weekend was one of the hottest of the year, with temperatures in London hitting an unexpected 32 degrees.

The mother of three could be seen placing a fashionable wicker hat on her head throughout the match to keep her neck and shoulders cool because the sun was so fierce.

A lot of people who were watching from home saw that Kate breached a key regulation at Wimbledon by wearing a hat in the stands.

The official website for the yearly sports event makes it obvious what to wear.

“The guide says, ‘Protocol—dress smartly, in suits, jackets, and ties.'” “Please don’t wear hats, ladies, because people sitting behind you might not be able to see them.”

A lot of users on Reddit said Kate was breaching the rules and showing off.

“Please don’t wear hats, especially in the royal box, so the people behind you can see,” someone said.

“Kate can be rude and block other people’s view,” stated another participant.

Some people said that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, didn’t get the same exception when she traveled to the competition in 2018.

That year, Kate and the former Suits actress went to the Ladies’ Singles Final. It was the first time they went out without their spouses, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Meghan donned a white straw hat with a black band on it, and she was holding it the whole time Angelique Kerber played Serena Williams.

A person on social media asked, “Why didn’t they let Meghan wear a hat?” to bring up the perceived double standards. She was upset since her family was so messed up.

Someone else tweeted a picture of Kate with the caption, “Do you remember when Meghan couldn’t wear a hat at Wimbledon?”

“Who wore a hat yesterday?”

Someone else said, “Yes, you know that Kate would have been praised for protecting her skin if she had worn the hat, and Meghan would have been criticized for not setting a good example for sun safety.”

“Meghan would always move the goalposts to hurt her.”

A fourth individual wrote, “I think Kate is making fun of Megan right now.” I know that we shouldn’t make ladies fight with each other. I agree, but there is a line, and I think Kate has passed it a lot.
