White House Responds to False Claim Linking Trump to Texas Floods

The catastrophic flash floods in Texas have killed more than 100 people. There will be an investigation into what really happened and why people weren’t told.

But for now, Texas officials are blaming President Donald Trump for the disaster since 600 people from the National Weather Service lost their jobs or retired earlier this year. The White House has now responded to what they call a “depraved lie.”

The catastrophic flash flood in Texas has killed more than 100 people. The floodwaters that hit the Texas Hill Country has killed at least 104 people and left many more missing. The Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes on Friday, and people are being rescued all along it.

There are 27 people from the Christian ladies’ camp, Camp Mystic, living in the area. Larry Leitha, the sheriff of Kerr County, said on Monday morning that there are still 10 campers and one counselor missing.

We are really sad for the families that are going through this terrible catastrophe. The camp’s website added, “We are praying for them all the time.” They added said they are still seeking for the “missing girls” and are in touch with the authorities in the area.

“Please keep praying for us and give each of our families the space and respect they need.” The message ended with, “May the Lord continue to wrap His presence around all of us.”

Texas officials argued that the floods there was Donald Trump’s fault.
The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, claimed that the devastation at Camp Mystic was “nothing short of horrific.” He went there on the weekend.

Abbott said of X, “It and the river next to it were horribly destroyed in ways I’ve never seen in a natural disaster.” The water that was rushing reached the tops of the cabins, which was scary. “We won’t stop looking for every girl who was in those cabins.”

The Guadalupe River became a deadly flash flood in less than an hour, but some people are wondering if lives could have been saved. The New York Times says that Texas officials have indicated that the National Weather Service (NWS) didn’t send emergency services enough warnings about the rain, which may have been why many people didn’t get the warning in time.

Donald Trump is to blame for the reason that “important” jobs at the local NWS offices were not filled. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cut costs earlier this year, which is why this happened. The New York Times also reported that city officials didn’t put in better warning systems because they were too pricey.

Donald Trump was asked in a brief interview at a New Jersey airport if he would look into whether the federal government’s budget cuts had left unfilled posts at the National Weather Service or in emergency coordination.

“They didn’t. I’ll tell you how messed up that is if you look at it. That was the deal that Biden made, not ours. But I wouldn’t hold Biden responsible either. Donald Trump said, “This is a disaster that will last for 100 years, and it’s just so awful to see.”

Karoline Leavitt says it’s a “depraved lie” to say that Trump is to responsible for the flooding in Texas.
The White House has finally responded to claims that they are blaming Donald Trump. “Blaming President Trump for these floods is a sick lie that doesn’t help us right now,” said Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary.

She answered, “That was God’s work.” The deluge happened when it did, but the government didn’t make it happen. The National Weather Service did its duty by giving early and regular warnings.

On Sunday, President Donald Trump declared Kerr County a major disaster area. He informed reporters on Monday that he plans to go to Texas on Friday, but it’s not clear where he will go.

Trump said, “That was a horrible thing that happened.” “Something that came out of nowhere late at night hurt Texas so badly.”

We are thinking about and praying for everyone who was affected by the tragic floods in Texas.
