A fascinating research on The Weekend on MSNBC: Primetime stated that Trump might be “haunted” by the idea of going through the same mental decline as his father, Fred Trump Sr., did in his last years when he had Alzheimer’s disease.
And now, a voice very close to home is joining the growing conversation regarding Donald Trump’s mental competency.
Mary Trump, the president’s niece and a licensed psychologist, has been talking about her uncle’s mental and emotional health for a long time. But in a recent episode of her YouTube show Trump Trolls Trump, she goes even further by labeling his current behavior a “reign of idiocy.”
Mary says that her uncle is growing sicker mentally.
She said, “The Trump administration has been in power for 166 days of terror, confusion, and chaos.” But let’s be honest: it’s a reign of stupidity.
But she didn’t stop there.
Mary, who published the best-selling book Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man, didn’t hold back when she commented about Donald Trump’s mental health.
“Time goes by quickly when you’re having a hard time, and when a man who can’t tie his own shoes is slowly destroying democracy,” she said.

Even though she said horrible things about him, she admitted that Trump had a unique mix of narcissism and mental instability. She said, “Donald is good at very, very few things, but I’m going to give him credit for one thing.” “He has a pretty good knack for combining cognitive decline with narcissism.” I mean, that’s two things in one.
Mary also made fun of Trump’s other public appearances, as when he went to the new Florida immigration center that has been called “Alligator Alcatraz.” When asked how long detainees will be held, Trump gave a long answer that spanned everything from New York taxes to fixing up the Oval Office.
Mary swiftly lambasted the unexpected answer: “The question, you idiot, wasn’t ‘Do you like Florida?'” she yelled. “That’s why he can’t answer that question: he doesn’t have one.”
She went on to suggest that the president was “getting worse and worse,” and she added, “He has the attention span of a toddler, which isn’t new.”
The psychologist also claimed she was disturbed that Trump doesn’t seem to be honest with the people of the United States. “I’m sick of this thug sitting there and lying to the American people about everything,” she said.
Mary also didn’t think Trump’s new way to make money, a high-end perfume, was enough. The new “Victory” perfume from Trump, which recently came out on Truth Social, costs an amazing $249 per bottle and comes with a gold statue of the president.
“Taking advantage of the office of the president of the United States is disgusting, but here we are,” she said. She finished with a zinger: “It’s not fair to those of us who are still sane to have to guess what that smell is like.”
