Another agreed by stating, “You became the biggest monster this nation has ever produced.”
Even so, how did this ordinary boy make people feel so passionately?

He understood right away from his strict upbringing that life was full of winners and losers.

A number of people remembered how he constantly competed which was often resented by many but didn’t hold him back. He felt more empowered by what he went through, instead of traumatized by it.
Although his father groomed him to be a fighter, his mother and he did not always have an easy connection.
During her illness early in her life, Tõnis felt less of her influence at a point when he really needed her.
His determination could have grown through that loss, causing him to act more like his emotionally closed father.
