Duck Dynasty star and patriarch Phil Robertson passed away at the age of 79, according to a statement from his family.
“We rejoice today that our grandfather, father, and husband, Phil Robertson, is now in heaven,” Willie Robertson’s wife, Korie Robertson, wrote on Facebook.
“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many people whose lives have been touched by his story of grace-saved living, his unwavering faith, and his desire to share the Good News of Jesus with everyone who would listen.” The post went on, “Until we see him again, we will carry on the tradition of love for God and others, and we are thankful for his life on earth.”

After starting the multimillion-dollar Duck Commander hunting enterprise, Phil Robertson became well-known.
During its run from 2012 to 2017, the reality show Duck Dynasty chronicled the lives of the Robertson family members, making them beloved celebrities. A year after its premiere, the show really became the most-watched factual cable series ever.

Phil Robertson was a Louisiana Tech football player before he became a TV personality.
He was a starting quarterback for the school, and they honoured him with a social media post.
In a statement, they expressed their sadness over the loss of former LA Tech quarterback Phil Robertson. “During this difficult time, the Robertson family is in our prayers and thoughts.”

Using a picture from his early years, his grandson Will Robertson commented, “My Papaw Phil went home to the Lord today.” He was incredibly powerful in his life, testimony, and dedication to God.
“His time on earth is something I will always be thankful for, and I’m glad to know he’s sitting in his recliner conversing with Jesus.” Papaw, I love you 🩶 [sic].

In December, Robertson’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis was revealed to the public on an Unashamed with the Robertson Family program.
He was “battling a lot of different things right now,” according to his son Willie, who spoke to Fox News Digital at the time.

In addition to his blood illness, he also has mental health problems that may be early [on-set] Alzheimer’s. Willie informed the publication, “and probably some ministrokes because of his blood.” Because of this, it might be a stroke that has occurred. We are now monitoring all of that.
However, he also suffers from a back condition. He is experiencing discomfort since he shattered his back. As a result, he is tackling a lot of issues simultaneously.
This summer’s premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival will mark the return of the Robertson family to television. The lives of Willie and Korie Robertson, their grown children, and their grandchildren will be highlighted as they carry on the family tradition.
