Many health experts agree that rest is a key thing to look into when taking good care of your health.
Sleeping for enough hours, that is between seven to nine hours can be enough to deliver the body with the repair and recovery procedures necessary for normal functioning.

Neglect in proper rest brings quite a lot of health complications, including a stroke, hunger and appetite, thus leading to obesity, diabetes, bone deterioration and potential hazards of heart attacks.

Scientists have also given their views on sleeping with a partner and mentioning a few observations like getting rid of stress and better well being, less insomnia, regulation of temperature and other.

Some advantages of sleeping with your partner include stress reduction, better coexistence, reduced insomnia among others.

As to sleeping positions, they have also been investigated.

Recently, American psychologist, Richard Wiseman, from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, had carried out research that listed the importance of sleeping position and distance in sleeping with the partner.

The study found that 42% of couples do not sleep in each other’s direction, 34% have some type of contact and 31% sleep side by side all night long.

Similarly, it was reported that the more these couples are close in sleeping; the higher the level of happiness and satisfaction among them. Having the same side while sleeping, although, there’s no physical contact, is a sure way of stating the strong connection with their partner.

Therefore if your partner turns his or her back at you as they sleep, then that is a sign that s/he respects your independence while at the same time not neglecting the present existing loving bond.

However, this is not conclusive when regarding or determining whether a relationship is good or bad since besides sleeping behaviour there are other habits of living together that determine the state of a relationship.

It turned out that the largest portion of couples (42%) sleep back to back, 34% touch one another, 31% stay on the same side all night.

Psychologically, any little movement could tell a great deal about a relationship. Night postures (which are usually overlooked), can betray an emotional condition and thoughts. However, it is critical not to reach too hasty conclusion. The way we sleep may have a number of reasons to bear it, physical diseases or simple habits developed from childhood.

According to relationship and psychology experts, the fact that you partner turns his/her back on you while asleep, can have different meanings, which can be analyzed thoroughly.

Quality of a Relationship Determined by Sleeping Positions.
A group of scientists from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014 conducted research that involved studying sleeping positions on the sidelines of the Edinburgh International Science Festival to see if ways of sleeping could indicate something about the nature of a relationship.

Research: What is it to Sleep on Your Back?

When analyzing the data, in analyzing the data, researchers found that when a couple decides to sleep on their backs or without constant physical contact, they signal a close connection of trust and comfort.

This position indicates that both persons regard their individual space in the relationship as well as they trust each other’s love that holds them together.

However, despite that physical contact is crucial, it is not the criterion that will make or break a woman’s satisfaction or satisfaction in a relationship, according to the survey findings.

This means that there are couples that feel comfortable sleeping in a noncontact way without losing their emotional closeness which expresses their love and trust to each other.
